Studio 6 is a high quality low cost alternative to conventional shooting. We are remote shooting experts, specialising in table top (food and liquids), demo sequences, pack-shots, and the re-working of existing commercials & social media with new packaging or product.
Cost & Efficiency
Every aspect of Studio 6 has been purposefully designed to maximise efficiency, with a shooting methodology that allows us to deliver high-end results at a cost saving averaging 25% to 35% on conventional shooting methods.
In-house expertise, camera, lighting, and SFX rigs, mean we can execute the required testing a shot may dictate, at a fraction of the cost of hiring-in. This does more than just smooth the shooting process, it allows for the necessary discussion between production house, client and agency as the shot evolves, saving time, money, and all but eliminating last minute surprises! Studio 6 also own a considerable stock of backgrounds, surfaces, glasses, utensils, props and fake foods.
Equipment
The Studio contains a large selection of specialist in house cameras and lenses to ensure the highest quality. Here at Studio 6, we shoot up to 300fps in 2K and up to 4.6K maximum resolution at speeds of 120fps. There are many other options in between which include an Anamorphic option. To compliment these high speed camera options, the studio contains specialist, custom made lighting that is non-flicker for slow motion filming.
Along with technical lighting, cameras and the regular studio filming equipment, Studio 6 also includes a wide range of SFX equipment such as fire grills , dropping rigs, model movers, a glass oven, flame bars etc. to allow for a wide range of unique, creative and technical shots.
Remote Availability
On-line monitors with HD cameras allow for real-time communication between client/agency and the production team. We use Zoom, Teams & Google Meet in both the studio, kitchen, client and edit/post-production areas. The studio has dedicated lease line internet to allow for clear communication and ultra-fast file uploads, designed to emulate an on set working scenario where the agency and client reside in an area from which is separate from the actual shooting area.
All interested parties can be real-time linked for a unique online experience, which eliminates travel expenses and is far more convenient for the client and agency.
